Two-fold testing: human + in vitro
A 30-participant human repair assessment showed that 2 hours after a single application on barrier-disrupted skin, transepidermal water loss (TEWL) — the speed at which skin loses water — was 19.79% lower than the control area; an in vitro soothing test (enzyme inhibition method) measured hyaluronidase inhibition of 91.20%, concluding soothing efficacy
After tape stripping on the inner forearm disrupted the skin barrier, a single dose was applied and measurements were taken at 2 hours — TEWL in the test area fell from 15.76±1.66 to 12.49±2.38 g/m²/h, versus 16.97±1.99 → 16.82±6.74 in the blank control area; 19.79% lower than the control (P=0.002). In vitro negative control 1.22±0.20% (P<0.05)
